operation shoebox 2014.jpg
Last year Valley View students and staff donated over 400 shoe boxes filled with small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, accessories such as t-shirts,socks, hair clips, for children living in poverty around the world. Once again we will be participating in Operation Shoe Box, a program that brightens the lives of children who have never received a gift.  Many of these children will walk several miles from their small villages to central distribution sites to receive these shoe boxes. Be part of the giving spirit this year. November 12th is the official kick off day for the campaign. We will have a special PM home room assembly presentation. But, if you want to get started early that’s OK.  You can use your own shoe boxes from home or, if you need one, I have shoe boxes donated by Sketchers shoe company for you to fill.  See Mr. Ritchie in counseling before or after school. National Collection week for the boxes to be turned in will be November 17-21.  Turn in your filled boxes to counseling during that week for more innformation click here
